PomodoroPro Privacy Policy

PomodoroPro is a focus timer for Windows. This policy explains what information the app handles. In short: PomodoroPro does not collect, sell or share your personal information, and it does not require an account.

Information we collect

We do not collect personal information. PomodoroPro has no account, sign-in, analytics, advertising or tracking.

Information stored on your device

The app keeps the following only on your PC, in its own app storage:

your settings (timer lengths, lock preferences, reveal style, frame, wall, theme and language);
your session history (when sessions started and ended, and which painting was shown);
paintings you download with "Discover more";
pictures you add to My Gallery (copies of your files; your originals are never changed).

This information is not sent to us or to anyone else. You can delete it at any time by uninstalling PomodoroPro, and you can remove individual My Gallery pictures inside the app.

Internet connections

PomodoroPro works offline. It uses the internet only for the following:

Discover more downloads public-domain paintings from The Metropolitan Museum of Art's public Open Access service. The request contains no personal information; the museum's own terms and privacy policy apply to that service.
Purchases and licences for the app and the PomodoroPro Studio add-on are handled entirely by the Microsoft Store, which the app asks at start-up whether the app and Studio are owned. The answer is kept on your PC, encrypted to your Windows account, so the app also works offline. We do not receive or store payment details. Microsoft's privacy statement applies to Store transactions.

Screen and keyboard lock

When you start a locked session, PomodoroPro covers your screens and blocks keyboard shortcuts until the session ends or you use the emergency exit. It does not record, store or transmit any keystrokes or screen content.

Children

PomodoroPro does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published with a new effective date.
